WinterCon 2010

Winter Con is a yearly convention held in El Paso, Texas during the month of December. The main focus of the convention is Japanese culture but is not limited to this genre. Winter Con includes other interest such as music, art, animation, science fiction, video games and much more. This convention is possible thanks to the efforts of the El Paso Collective and all those who support and volunteer their time.

The mission of The Collective is to organize and run various events in the El Paso area, one of these events being Winter Con. Events are organized to be family friendly and are not meant only as a form of entertainment but as a way of expanding El Paso's horizons.

The El Paso Collective is a group made up through the leadership of:

El Paso's Japanese Fashionistas
El Paso Otaku Society
The Anime Appreciation Society of El Paso
The Sci Fi Society
and important members from the public.
